About this event
Monkey Goes West is Wild Rice's 2026 holiday pantomime at the Ngee Ann Kongsi Theatre, Wild Rice @ Funan, running 12 November to 27 December 2026. Wild Rice's own event page states the run and prices, from S$50 for previews and S$55 to S$120 for regular performances. Alfian Sa'at's retelling of the Journey to the West classic is directed by Ivan Heng with music by Elaine Chan. This record replaces two stale year records withdrawn in the same pass: The Emperor's New Clothes was the company's 2025 pantomime and The Wizard of Oz its 2024 pantomime, and neither is a 2026 production.
