Singapore International Marathon 2026: Race Weekend, Dated
The BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas runs 4 to 6 December 2026, its 44th edition, with the race village at the F1 Pit Building and the finish inside the National Stadium. Registration for the shorter races closes on 31 October.
Singapore's national marathon weekend returns under a new name: 4 to 6 December 2026, the 44th edition, now the BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas, renamed from the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon and organised by SG International Marathon Pte Ltd. The event's own site bills it as Southeast Asia's only World Athletics Gold Label Road Race.
The deadline that matters this week
The official site says registration for the Standard Chartered 10km, the 5km and the Kids Dash has been extended to 31 October 2026 at 11:59pm, or earlier if the field reaches maximum capacity. That is days away, not weeks. This site carries no entry fee for the weekend, because no fee was captured when the record was checked: the figure that matters is the one on the official registration page for your race.
Start, finish and the weekend around it
The race village sits at the F1 Pit Building and the finish is inside the National Stadium at The Kallang, so a runner's weekend and a spectator's weekend point at the same precinct. Stadium station serves The Kallang on the MRT, and the sensible stay bases are Kallang itself and the central districts on the same lines, set out on the hotels page. December's full calendar is on the December 2026 page, and the full listing, with the official source and check date, is on the marathon event page.
