PGL Major Singapore: The Counter-Strike Major, Explained for First-Timers

The Counter-Strike 2 Major comes to Southeast Asia for the first time in December: 32 teams, a US$1,250,000 prize pool, and the final four days played live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 10 to 13 December. How a Major works, what each day costs, and how to go.

A Major is Counter-Strike's world championship tier: the tournaments every team in the game builds its season around. The PGL Major Singapore 2026 is the second Major of 2026 and the first ever staged in Southeast Asia, with 32 of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams playing from 25 November for a total prize pool of US$1,250,000. For its last four days the tournament moves into the Singapore Indoor Stadium at The Kallang, and those are the days you can attend.

How the four days work

The opening stages, played from 25 November, narrow the 32 teams down to eight. Those eight reach the playoffs, and the playoffs are single elimination: lose once and you are out. The quarter-finals spread across Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, the semi-finals follow on Saturday 12, and the grand final on Sunday 13 is a best of five, the longest match in the sport's calendar. Doors open at 3.30pm on the first three days, with play from 5pm; on Sunday the doors open at 12.30pm and the show starts at 2pm. If you attend one day only, Sunday is the whole story in a single sitting; if you attend two, Saturday and Sunday are the pair.

What a day costs

Day tickets are priced by how much is at stake: S$144 for Thursday, S$169 for Friday, S$294 for Saturday and S$369 for the grand final, each plus a S$6 booking fee, sold through the official ticketing channels with a limit of ten per transaction. The general sale opened on 25 February 2026, so the best seats have been moving for months. Thursday is the cheapest way into the building, and it still buys knockout Counter-Strike between top-eight teams.

Going in person

The Indoor Stadium sits in The Kallang precinct, served by Stadium station on the Circle Line, and the precinct routine is set out in this site's Kallang stays guide. The venue's own rules are worth knowing before you pack: bags must fit under a seat, at most 35 by 20 by 30 centimetres; noise makers are banned; fan boards can be no larger than A3; professional cameras stay out; and water bottles are emptied at the door, with food and drink sold inside. Children aged four and above need their own ticket. Stay bases and the ride home are covered on the hotels page.
