We have started this section to keep registered users/content contributors up to date on the control panel and other features available for their use on Singapore Happenings.

FRONTEND: – Introduced ‘How To Do’ category in which we place short tutorials for registered users to learn how to use some features of the TEXT BOX in the posting of articles.

CONTROL PANEL: — Unable to edit/add new post. Message ‘attempt to edit/add post has failed ’ appears. In post-new file in the software script, decommented the line:  //wp_enqueue_script(‘autosave’); Problem solved.

FRONTEND – Placed new login box on top of right-side column.

FRONTEND — Implemented pageview counting for articles/posts.

CONTROL PANEL — Enabled switching between VISUAL and HTML views for the text input box used in posting new events/happenings. Actually, this was a software bug which a new installation corrected. Apologies for those of you who had to get used to seeing such <codings> tags recently.

FRONTEND — Enabled emailing and printing for individual events/posts on the Web site. Please see the new icons for email and printing just below the post/event heading.
