《胶林我们的母亲》是莫泽熙的不朽作曲,在50-60年代是文化团体必唱的歌曲,它感动了无数的青年。
 
这本《胶林我们的母亲》是音乐界用以缅怀莫泽熙的一本纪念册。它记录了莫先生自五十年代读中学开始，一直到七十年代初他离开华乐界的二十年激情日子的事迹。这本纪念册也收集了莫先生在那个时代高声呼喊发展健康音乐理想的论文，还有他在大学校园里所创作的多篇生活和学习感言。此外，莫先生对诗词与中国书法也很有研究，纪念册也选录了有关作品。这是首次发表的作品。它提供了对莫先生的音乐道路和人生哲学的研究不可缺少的资料。莫氏遗孀杜青女士将在会中为公众记述莫先生的一些真实生活纪事。同时,也将在会中展出莫先生一些生前珍藏的袖珍盆栽。

这是配合“认识新加坡华语话剧及其他表演艺朮”展览活动的第二个讲座。由郭坤福、邹文学和蔡碧霞三位主讲,分别就华语话剧创作观点及表演艺朮形式的演进,以及华族地方剧曲的发展情况进行讲述,内容笵围包括:文艺思潮转变影响戏剧观;戏剧创作影响话剧创作;冲破四堵墙以后的午台;演出场数最多的独幕剧《雨夜》;走向大规模的露天午台演出;七十年代回归重视本地剧的倾向;随移民南来戏班在五六十年代走向高峰;七十年代后求变求发展;及后得到戏曲学院的推动,剧团耕用现代科技为午台增加光彩,地方戏曲有了新的发展前景。
 
以上所提及的展览将在11月28日至1月26日在国家图书馆9楼展出。
