fill-your-walls, an  art gallery dedicated to the promotion of local emerging artists, presents its latest group exhibition – Wood Play. Featuring over 30 paintings by local emerging artists, the exhibition showcases art creations in oil, acrylic, watercolour and mixed media on various types of wood, mainly 40cm by 40cm in size.

The inspiration behind this theme was to allow the artists to play around, experiment and have fun with a different material and showcase their expression of creativity on wood, in which the nature of wood becomes part of the subject of their work.

Some of the artists who will be featured include William Sim and Vincent Chow. The exhibited works were selected by popular votes obtained in the ‘Hall of Fame’ section on www.fill-your-walls.com, following a recent open call for submissions.

The originals works are priced between $80 and $200.00 and are ideal for Christmas gifts.

Wood Play runs from 8 December 2009 till 5 January 2010 at the fill-your-walls gallery, which is located at 21 Tanjong Pagar Road #04-02. The exhibition is open from 10.00am to 10.00pm daily except Wednesdays and Public Holidays. Admission is free. For enquiries, please call 6222 1667.
