Inaugurated in 2008, this year’s Family Day Out falls on the first Saturday of the June school holidays. Scheduled for 30 May 2009, Singaporeans are encouraged to take time off and enjoy a day out with their family – be it watching a movie, cycling, bowling, having a picnic, or even having a meal together.

Venue: Near the Asian Civilisations Museum, Empress Place

To encourage more families to take part in Family Day Out, complimentary tickets will also be given to families to enjoy a free family outing. Businesses all across the country will also be offering family related discounts and promotions.
